Mommy and Connor

I have been HORRIBLE about taking pictures with Connor. I have like, maybe 5. I need to get better about that. And I need to take more pictures of the boys together. Although it's impossible to get Noah to sit next to Connor for more than 2.5 seconds, plus I'm worried about Noah 'patting' Connor too roughly. I'm sure they'll have a million once Noah is old enough to be bribed to sit still ;)

Bear hat 10 days old

I put Connor in the same bear/monkey/mouse(?) hat that Noah wore when he was 10 days old. What do you think, mini twins? I see a lot of differences. Connor seems to have more 'petite' facial features. Definitely brothers!

Sock Monkey and Tonka Truck Fun

I'm officially addicted to photographing this little man!

James was given this exact Tonka truck for his third birthday. We even have a picture of him opening it! :)

First Bath

Connor's umbilical cord is all healed up so we were able to give Connor his first "bath" today. He doesn't enjoy being naked or cold so he wasn't a big fan of it.

One Week Old!

Connor is one week old today! He is still so tiny that most newborn clothes are very baggy on him. (Onsies excluded)

First Walk to the Park

We spent a beautiful Valentine's Day as a family today. Connor went on his first walk to the park! He slept through the entire thing so apparently he wasn't too impressed. :)

First Doctor Visit

Connor had his first doctor appointment today, the standard weight check up. He is doing well; no signs of jaundice, he is eating well and sleeping well. I was a bit nervous at how vocal he was the first 24 hours or so at the hospital but he seems to have gotten comfortable with life at our house.

It was fun to see him wear this teddy bear and baseball outfit, it was Noah's going home outfit :)

Our boys

I know not to compare our boys as they grow, they are both precious and special and wonderfully unique. But it is so cute to look back at pictures of Noah when he was Connor's age, and see their similarities.

This is Noah, 4 days old, wearing one of my favorite newborn PJs, dinosaur jammies that say "snugglesaurus"

Sleeeeepy Baby

I wanted to include a picture of these adorable flowers Praxair (James' work) sent us. The nurses and everyone who came to visit commented on how cute they are!

Home, Sweet Home

We were eager to get home and begin our life as a family of four, so we were excited when the doctor said we could go home Friday night. Grandma and Papa Ray brought Noah home in his jammies and we were able to put our boys to sleep in their own beds.

In Hospital Photography Session

Our hospital offers free sessions from a photographer who came directly to our room. It was nice having quality pictures taken the day after he was born, as babies change so quickly. We ordered prints of these two, as keepsakes. I definitely thought I would be the first to photograph him but that's ok, I know I will be taking way, way too many pictures of him soon! :)

Welcome to the world Connor!

The night/morning you were born was so special to us! We put your brother to bed and drove to the hospital at 10pm, so excited to meet you! Grandma and Papa came at 2am and the fun began at 4am. At 9:47am you arrived, healthy and as handsome as could be!

Patiently waiting for you.

I loved being able to hold you for an hour directly after your birth. It was such an amazing feeling.

First bath!

Getting weighed and measured. You were 7lbs 13.2ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. We call you our little baby bird, you make it very obvious when you're hungry. You have quite the screech, nice healthy lungs! :)
