Play time

Connor got some play mat play time in today. But....

....it was short lived because Noah kept wanting to "play" with Connor too.

Play mat time will have to be reserved for Noah's nap time I guess :)

Beary Cute!

I just adore this "Beary Cute" little guy! His pants have a bear face on the butt, cracks me up :)

Eye Color

I can't tell what color Connor's eyes are going to be. At first I thought for sure they will be blue, like Noah's but lately it looks as if they are turning brown. Or green. Or maybe just a dark blue. It all just depends on the lighting. I've read that they can take up to a year to turn their final color, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see! :)

Helpful Noah

It's hard to make out what is happening in this picture, but Noah is sharing his pup pup with Connor. We thought it was super cute because he LOVES his half blanket/half dog lovie.

We also watched as Noah very gently reinserted Connor's binkie. It was ridiculously cute and we made a really big fuss because Noah was so gentle. Noah is going to like being a helper for his little brother!

Back to Work

Daddy went back to work this weekend, which was a big adjustment for all of us. That's part of the reason why the blog hasn't been updated in a while. But I'll catch up! We sure loved our 6 weeks of family bonding time. It went by so fast!

St. Patrick's Day

Connor is "Mommy's New(est little) Man" :)

We went to the boys' Great-Grandma's house for St. Patrick's Day for the annual corned beef and cabbage dinner! Fun times :)

Mylicon and Mommy Time

We give Connor anti-gas drops every now and then; this is what he thinks of them. He sits there licking his lips like he was given peanut butter.

Mommy went out to dinner with friends tonight, the first time being away from Connor. I was worried he wouldn't take the pumped bottle but James said he drank it just fine.

Growing like a weed!

I don't know why, but Connor looks so much bigger to me already. He's only 5 weeks and I know he is still an itty bitty thing, but he's out growing that newborn look to me. He's out grown newborn diapers already, and it seems like newborn clothes will be need to be boxed up shortly too!

Baseball Baby

I love this thermal baseball outfit, Noah outgrew it so quickly.

Eye infection :(

Connor had to go see his wonderful pediatrician today because his eyes are red and gunky. The doctor said eye infections are common in babies, as their tear ducts clog easily. Poor kiddo needs ointment 4-5 times a day. I'm just glad it wasn't pink eye! Yikes.

We also discovered Connor has an umbilical hernia, which is common and harmless but makes his belly button stick out farther when he cries. We just thought he had a big outtie belly button LOL It should resolve itself on it's own within a year or so.

Oh! And he weighed 10lbs 11oz today, so he's gained almost 3 pounds in a month! Must be all that weight gain 3,000 he's been drinking ;)

Snuggle Puppy

Connor still loves to be swaddled. If he has been changed, fed, and burped but is still a bit fussy, we can just wrap him up and he usually falls asleep within minutes. He always looks so cozy!
